Simple cremation

Our simple cremation option is a cremation without an attended service. No service means you can remember and say goodbye to your loved one in your own way.

The way we care for your loved one is no different to any of our other services. Unlike larger funeral homes, here at Serenity we offer a more personal and flexible approach to our simple cremation service. Serenity offers the option to add on Chapel visits within our funeral home, meaning you can spend time and say your final farewell to your loved one. A small floral tribute for the coffin can be arranged and we can dress your loved one in their own clothing and add personal items that can remain with them on their final journey.

Serenity’s simple cremations take place at Huntingdon crematorium, and you will be given the option to either collect the ashes directly from the crematorium or have them hand delivered to your home address within a 30-mile radius.

We work with you and your family to agree upon a mutual date for the cremation to take place, avoiding any significant events such as birthdays and anniversaries.

Although a simple cremation is a fuss free service this doesn’t mean it has to be impersonal. At Serenity we believe every service deserves to be unique with the option to be personalised.

What Our Clients Say

After losing my farther-in-law at Christmas we went to Katy for help with my fathers funeral arrangements. The level of service through this most difficult of times was first class. I can not thank Katy enough for such a professional and dignified send off for my family.

Katy and Scott. Thank you so much for making the whole process of arranging our beautiful Mum’s funeral less stressful than we imaged it would be. You were both professional throughout, but also showed great kindness and compassion to us and to all our family and friends on the day. Your sense of humour and hugs lifted our spirits and made our final farewell to Mum bearable, and we were able to smile and celebrate her wonderful life. Thanks for everything!

In the worst moment of your life, you need someone to make you feel safe, to answer all your questions, to give you comfort. In the worst moment of your life, you need someone to take control, organise things, organise people, pay attention to detail.

I buried my 15-year-old nephew in March this year.

Katy and the team were phenomenal. From setting up a memorial page, honouring all of his wishes, and just making it a perfect send off. At such a tough time the stress and organising was taken away from us by Katy. I can’t thank them enough for making one of the worst days of my life bearable.
