In Loving Memory of David Woosey

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Woosey, who died peacefully with his wife by his side on Tuesday, 26th August, at Royal Papworth Hospital.

David was a hardworking and devoted family man — a beloved husband to Hazel, a loving father to Natalie and Deanna, a proud grandad, and a cherished brother, brother-in-law, and uncle. His warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication will be remembered by all.

A funeral service to celebrate David’s life will take place at Huntingdon Crematorium on Monday, 29th September at 12:00 noon.

By family request, family flowers only, please.

Respectful attire requested, but black is not necessary — a hint of blue, his favourite colour, is welcomed in honour of David’s life.

We are also planning to webcast the service, should you wish to join with us at this time please reach out for details at dcwoosey@icloud.com.

Donations in David’s memory can be made online through the link below, or at the service, with proceeds going to a lasting tribute at Royal Papworth Hospital. Alternatively, personal donations can be made directly to Cancer Research UK.

The memories he leaves behind will be treasured always, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he held close.

“What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes part of us.”
