It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christine Handscombe of Great Barford, who died on Saturday 5th July 2025 at Bedford Hospital, aged 79.
Christine will be remembered as a kind-hearted, elegant, and compassionate woman, whose generous spirit and warmth left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Thoughtful and graceful in all that she did, Christine had a natural way of making others feel valued and cared for. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A graveside service to honour Christine’s life will take place at Keysoe Green Burial Ground on Wednesday 30th July at 2pm.
Following the service, you are warmly invited to join the family at The Anchor Pub, Great Barford, to share memories, stories, and reflect on a life so beautifully lived.
Donations may be made at the service in memory of Christine, supporting causes close to her heart.
