On October 1st, Serenity Funerals Service ltd proudly opened its doors to the local community, marking a significant milestone for residents of Huntingdon and Cambridgeshire. We were honoured to welcome and celebrate the occasion with residents, funeral celebrants, representatives from Huntingdon Crematorium, our UK based coffin manufacturer, memorial makeovers, our local stone mason and Richard Slade, the Mayor of St Neots. We very much look forward to working with these individuals and their businesses to serve local families.
During the event, we had the opportunity to share insights about the range of services we offer, tailored to meet the unique needs of families during their time of loss. As an independent funeral director, we take pride in our commitment to providing compassionate and personalised care, free from the constraints of larger corporate entities.
At Serenity Funerals service, we are proud to be different. We pride ourselves on traditional values but have added a modern approach giving families more flexibility and choice. We have worked closely with our local crematorium at Huntingdon to create a more sustainable approach to funerals. We believe in supporting local businesses and have created funeral options with this in mind.
Serenity Funerals services understands that funeral industry is changing. With more families opting for direct cremations, we feel it’s important to offer families more flexibility. We have created a direct cremation service with the option to visit your loved one which we feel can be very important to aid the grieving process. We have also created the first of its kind. Our simple goodbye service, allowing families to attend an intimate service at Huntingdon crematorium chapel for a final farewell. This service is for up to 15 family members for 10 minutes. This gives families the option to say their final farewell without a minister or celebrant led service.
Our aim is to serve not just the immediate community, but the wider Cambridgeshire area, ensuring that every family feels supported and valued during one of life’s most challenging moments. We believe in the importance of community connection, and we’re here to provide comfort and guidance every step of the way.
Thank you to everyone who joined us on this momentous day. We look forward to being a trusted resource for families and friends in our community for years to come.
