Simple Farewell Service

At Serenity Funerals service, we are dedicated to providing a range of options to meet the needs of the families we serve. While we offer an unattended service to keep costs low, we understand that some families may feel this option doesn’t provide the closure that a traditional funeral does. At Serenity Funerals service we have created a one-of-a-kind service. Huntingdon Crematorium offer a simple, yet meaningful, goodbye service. This service includes 10 minutes in the chapel with your loved one, allowing up to 15 family members or friends to attend.

You may choose two pieces of music, and the service will feature an unvarnished coffin and a simple hand tied bouquet. There will be no minister present, as this is designed to be a personal and intimate farewell with just you and your loved one.

Price £1,995 (excluding crematorium fee)

What Our Clients Say

Katy and Scott. Thank you so much for making the whole process of arranging our beautiful Mum’s funeral less stressful than we imaged it would be. You were both professional throughout, but also showed great kindness and compassion to us and to all our family and friends on the day. Your sense of humour and hugs lifted our spirits and made our final farewell to Mum bearable, and we were able to smile and celebrate her wonderful life. Thanks for everything!

After losing my farther-in-law at Christmas we went to Katy for help with my fathers funeral arrangements. The level of service through this most difficult of times was first class. I can not thank Katy enough for such a professional and dignified send off for my family.

I buried my 15-year-old nephew in March this year.

Katy and the team were phenomenal. From setting up a memorial page, honouring all of his wishes, and just making it a perfect send off. At such a tough time the stress and organising was taken away from us by Katy. I can’t thank them enough for making one of the worst days of my life bearable.

In the worst moment of your life, you need someone to make you feel safe, to answer all your questions, to give you comfort. In the worst moment of your life, you need someone to take control, organise things, organise people, pay attention to detail.
