It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our much-loved mum, Jennifer Mary Amelia Ashworth, who passed away suddenly at her home in Cyprus on 4 August 2026.
Jennifer was a devoted mum, nanny, and mother-in-law whose kindness and generosity touched everyone who knew her. She would do anything for those she loved and will be remembered for her caring nature, warm spirit, and the happiness she brought to her family and friends.
She found great enjoyment in bingo, playing bridge and knitting blankets for others thoughtful pastimes that reflected both her sociable nature and her generous heart.
Jennifer’s funeral will take place at 2.30 pm on Thursday, 24 September 2026, at Peterborough Crematorium.
Donations in Jennifer’s memory may be made at the service in support of the wonderful work of Sue Ryder Hospice.
