In Loving Memory of Derek Ernest Wilson
Passed away peacefully at home on 23rd June 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband of the late Helen Wilson, Derek was a devoted and cherished stepfather to Justine and Damian, and a treasured grandfather to six adored grandchildren. His warmth, kindness, and quiet strength touched the lives of all who knew him.
A funeral service to celebrate Derek’s life will be held at Bedford Crematorium on Thursday, 24th July at 1:45pm. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and share in remembering a truly special man.
Following the service, a wake will be held at The Park, 98 Kimbolton Road, MK40 2PF, where memories and moments of Derek’s life will be honoured and shared.
Donations in Derek’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society at the service, supporting a cause close to the family’s heart.
